DMR Rhythm and Random Stuff

Got a new bike to play with this week! DMR sent me this sweet 08 Rythm set up with the new 'Ox Blood' parts. I tested it out at Chicksands today and absolutely loved it. There stuff is really looking good, neat designs and cool graphics. Thanks guys.

In other news, Norwich BMX club went random yesterday. The first random gate session went down at 2pm! Loving it. Get down there saturday afternoons to try it out.

Milkshake!

Myself and Norwich BMX Club's Tim Gregory and Chris Carr did some filming for the Channel 5 TV programme 'Milkshake' last week. It's a TV show aimed at the under 6's! Chris and I did the riding and demonstrating, while Tim - the Club's coach - had the challenging task of teaching the petrified presenter how to ride a BMX. Things weren't looking good when the presenter could hardly ride the downside of one jump. By the end of the filming though Tim had managed to coach her into riding a full lap of the track. The programme will air sometime in March. Here's a couple of pics from the day.

Speeeed Run

I love this place .... as you can probably see :o)

I loved it so much though that I rode till I couldn't ride anymore. On Saturday I rode Rotherham and a fun play track in Brampton with lots of riders, so I couldn't stop riding then either. Add that to a hard week in the gym and by Sunday I was too tired to race the boys at Chesterfield. Shame, I really wanted to race, but I'm no duracell bunny. Just did some random gate practice and it was good to hang out, watch the racing and catch up with some race buddies and give my Ti Dialled Bikes a spin. The track was running super smooth I loved riding it, and that rhythm first straight is so cool to race and watch.

In case you hadn't noticed, I hooked up with Vans http://www.vans.co.uk/ and Dickies Clothing http://www.dickies.net/ . I'm pretty excited about it, I've been a fan of these companies for years and both companies are now running some cool girls lines, check em out. Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to representing!
